The twin room was inviting with comfortable beds and thoughtful extras like USB chargers in the lamps. The breakfast featured a wonderful selection, highlighted by a perfectly cooked full English that was simply the best I've ever tasted. Jo's warm hospitality made the whole experience feel personal, as she provided great local tips for exploring, but there could be improvements in the availability of the bathroom facilities.

Super comfy stay with friendly vibes!
We were super impressed with how friendly the host was! The bed? OMG, so comfy! Breakfast had tons of yummies. Trivia cards, which was fun! Jo's dogs are adorable but shy, so we had to ask to meet them. Just wish the parking was a bit easier, but honestly, it was a fab stay overall.

The double room had an amazing mountain view, super clean with cute decor. The bed was so comfy. I slept like a baby! Loved all the little extras like toiletries and a pack of cards. The shower was HOT and perfect after a long day. I appreciated how well everything was thought out. Just a cozy vibe all around.

Staying in the Double Room with Mountain View offered spectacular vistas and a cozy atmosphere. The room itself had a charming decor that made it feel more like home than a typical guest room.
The placement of the bed was a bit cramped, causing me to bang my knee on the metal bed posts more than once. The TV was positioned awkwardly, making it a challenge to watch from the bed. it required some maneuvering to get a decent angle. There was a noticeable noise from the toilet macerator during flushes, which might disturb light sleepers, though it didn’t really bother us much. Communication regarding room checks upon checkout seems crucial. another guest mentioned a concerning follow-up regarding wall damage that feels unfounded. Be sure to inspect and document everything before leaving.

The place felt just like home, only better, with an amazing breakfast that really set us up for the day and an impressive selection of teas and coffees. Relaxing in the garden and enjoying the cozy atmosphere made our stay even more delightful. Just a heads up, my partner wished there was a bar of soap available for shaving, but that’s just a tiny detail. Highly recommend it! 🌟

Disappointed with the hype
We spent a night here and were bummed. The mountain view from our double room was nice, but the place felt outdated. Had packed lunches, which were a sweet touch, but the wifi was pretty spotty. Kinda a letdown for a place claiming to be top-notch. Not what we expected with a 9.5 rating.

It was just a great match for a hurried visit in Holmrook with good value for price. The room was warm and welcoming, making it a cozy spot for the night. For parking, just be careful when pulling in as it's on a main road.
